Seen: Viewing the work of African American Artists of Fredericksburg

SEEN: Viewing the Work of African American Artists in Fredericksburg, VA: This exhibit features 100 years of African American Artists with deep connections to the Fredericksburg region. Ten bodies of work focus on themes of women’s empowerment, educational equity, and public art. Featured artists include famed Fredericksburg humanitarian Johnny Johnson and Harlem Renaissance painter Palmer Hayden. “SEEN” is graciously sponsored by the PNC Legacy Project and Flourishing Hearts Counseling and Hypnotherapy. Additional support provided by Higashi Glaser Design and The Central Rappahannock Heritage Center.

Exhibit Opened March 2nd and runs till December 2023
